Mark K. Pollman, DVM, MS
Veterinarian

Dr. Mark Pollman was born in Didsbury, Alberta, Canada. He moved to central Ohio with his family when he was in the fifth grade. Dr. Pollman obtained his undergraduate degree in 1989 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and his Master’s degree in 1991 from The Ohio State University. Dr. Pollman graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in 1996. Upon graduation, Dr. Pollman and his family moved to Western Pennsylvania. In 1999, Dr. Pollman started Alpine Trail Veterinary Clinic, Inc. Dr. Pollman has a wife, Cindie, and two sons, Tyler and Logan, an English Lab, Jagger and 2 cats. Dr. Pollman enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, boating, ATV riding and hiking.

Coreen Flanery, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Flanery was born in Pennsylvania and lived in the South Hills area of Pittsburgh.   She attended Fresno State University where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science degree in 1986 and her Masters of Science degree in 1988.    Dr. Flanery then moved to Davis, California where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and her Masters of Preventative Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of California, Davis, in 1994. Dr. Flanery currently lives in Mercer, Pennsylvania with her husband, Rich Williams.  She has a sister, Krista, who lives with her family in Fresno, California, a stepson, Andy, and a grandson, Evan.   Dr. Flanery has two horses, Bailey and L.B., a mini donkey, Squeekie, two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Bud and Levi, and a pug named Ty.    Her hobbies include horse care and riding, writing, gardening, line dancing and goofing around with her dogs.

Logan Pollman, DVM
Veterinarian

Dr. Logan graduated from The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2022.    Logan grew up in this community, having graduated from Laurel High School in 2012 and graduating from Slippery Rock University in 2016.  Logan lives with his family (including English Lab, Jagger) in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania .  Logan fished competitively for Slippery Rock University where he and his partner, Tyler Sheppard, took 1st place at the FLW College Bass Fishing Northern Conference Tournament on the Potomac River.  That win secured the duo a spot in the FLW National Bass Fishing Tournament in Alabama where they placed 7th in the nation.   Eight months out of the year you can find Logan fishing the local lakes and waterways in PA, Ohio and New York.  He also enjoys deep sea fishing off the coast of Florida.  Logan loves to spend time outdoors and attend Ohio State football games in the Fall.   Go Bucks!  Logan is a small animal practitioner at the Clinic with a special interest in orthopedics.

Cindie Pollman
Management

Cindie Pollman is the wife of Dr. Mark Pollman. She is the office manager/receptionist for the Clinic. Cindie graduated in 1987 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in Office Management. Cindie enjoys spending time with Mark and their two boys, Tyler and Logan, as well as boating, gardening and scrapbooking.

Jenn Peters
Technician

Jenn graduated from Mercer High School in 2007 and Great Lakes Institute in 2008. Jenn is currently living in Franklin, PA with her boyfriend, Josh, and their son Carter. She has 3 Australian Shepherds, Myla, Oliver, and Jovie. Jenn has been with Alpine Trail since October, 2015. In her spare time, Jenn enjoys hunting, kayaking, fishing and spending time outdoors.

Beth Metrick
Technician

Beth graduated from Beaver Area High School in 2004, Slippery Rock University (Elem Ed/Special Ed/Early Childhood Ed) in 2009 and the Vet Tech Institute in 2015. Originally from Beaver, Beth now lives near Grove City, PA with her husband, Greg, their 2 dogs, Cruzan a Mini Dachshund and Douglas, a Hound mix. She also has 2 gray cats, Ali and Croix . She has been with Alpine Trail since January, 2016. In her spare time, Beth loves playing corn hole and taking her dogs on walks.

Amy Mort
Technician

Amy was born in Steubenville, Ohio, but now resides in Sandy Lake, PA with her daughter, Makenzee. After graduating from Steubenville High School, Amy entered the Vet Assistant program at Laurel Technical Institute where she graduated in 2019. Amy has a chocolate lab, Charlee, and a black cat named Millee. Amy enjoys hiking, fishing, riding four-wheelers and side-by-sides, and knife throwing.

Rachel Dando
Technician

Rachel lives in New Castle, PA with her parents and two brothers. She graduated from the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center with a concentration in Veterinary Assistant. Rachel has three dogs, Shadow, a German Shepherd/Lab mix, Maggie, a Shih Tzu/Dachshund mix, and Tank, a Golden Retriever. Rachel enjoys babysitting, dog sitting, playing with her pets and taking walks with her family and dogs.

Cari Clokey
Technician

Cari graduated from Grove City High School in 2004. She performed as a Vet Tech in Guam, Maryland, and Hawaii during her travels as a military spouse. She returned to Grove City, PA after 18 years with her husband, Jesse, and two sons, Rooster and Cooper. She has a Shih Tzu named Mylah, an Australian Shepherd named Leroy, and two cats, Jack and Jelly Bean.  Cari enjoys spending time with family and friends, vacationing and being outdoors.

Jami Kubit
Technician

Jami graduated from North Hills High School in 2005 and Vet Tech Institute in 2006 with an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Technology. She has worked in the Veterinary field since 2006 and has been with Alpine Trail Veterinary Clinic since May, 2018. Jami is currently living in Shenango, PA with her boyfriend, Blaine, her two children, Blake and Maci, and Blaine’s daughter, Hailey. She has an orange cat named Chase, and  two dogs, Ila, a Beagle mix and  Timber, a Great Pyrenees/Red Heeler mix. In her spare time, Jami enjoys kayaking, hiking, camping, ATV riding, and spending time with her family.

Brianna
Receptionist

Brianna lives in New Castle, PA with her son, Brycen. She graduated from Laurel High School in 2016. Brianna has a Boxer mix named Zeke and three cats, Evie, Boone, and Gus. Brianna enjoys spending time with her son and traveling to Disney with him every year.
