Mark K. Pollman, DVM, MS

Dr. Mark Pollman was born in Didsbury, Alberta, Canada. He moved to central Ohio with his family when he was in the fifth grade. Dr. Pollman obtained his undergraduate degree in 1989 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and his Master’s degree in 1991 from The Ohio State University. Dr. Pollman graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in 1996. Upon graduation, Dr. Pollman and his family moved to Western Pennsylvania. In 1999, Dr. Pollman started Alpine Trail Veterinary Clinic, Inc. Dr. Pollman has a wife, Cindie, and two sons, Tyler and Logan, an English Lab, Jagger and 2 cats. Dr. Pollman enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, boating, ATV riding and hiking.

Cindie Pollman

Cindie Pollman is the wife of Dr. Mark Pollman. She is the office manager/receptionist for the Clinic. Cindie graduated in 1987 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with a degree in Office Management. In addition to working at the Clinic, Cindie is a legal assistant for Cusick, & DeCaro in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Cindie enjoys spending time with Mark and their two boys, Tyler and Logan, as well as boating, gardening and scrapbooking.

Ernie is ATVC’s resident cat and everyone’s favorite little buddy. As a young kitten, he was abandoned on the side of the road with his littermates and rescued by a Good Samaritan. Ernie is an orange domestic shorthair tabby with quite the personality – he loves everyone that comes through the Clinic door (even dogs)! Ernie’s hobbies include catching sky raisins (aka flies), meowing at anyone who will listen, and playing with his friends (especially Jaxon and Luna). He spends most of his days lounging in the Clinic lobby, watching birds outside and making friends with our clients and patients alike.

Elissa Druschel

Elissa started her veterinary technician career in 1998, graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1999 and Slippery Rock University (social work) in 2008. She has been a part of the Alpine Trail family since 2003. Elissa lives near New Castle with her 2 dogs (Pickles Louise and Pidge) and 2 cats (Squallie and Skippyjon). In her spare time, Elissa is the vice president of the board of directors at the Lawrence County Humane Society and volunteers with Pidge (a therapy dog in training). She also enjoys dog obedience, photography, and crocheting/knitting.

Zayna Miles

Zayna graduated from Shenango High School in 2013 and continued her education at the Vet Tech Institute to become a certified veterinary technician. She was hired at Alpine Trail in the beginning of 2015. Zayna lives near New Castle, PA with her family, cat (Luna) and two dogs (Tucker and Enzo). In her spare time, Zayna enjoys fishing, kayaking, attending country concerts with friends and traveling. She also enjoys spending time with family at their camp in Kennerdell.

Jenn Peters

Jenn graduated from Mercer High School in 2007 and Great Lakes Institute in 2008. Currently living in Mercer, she has 3 dogs (Ellie, Spike and Sadie) and 4 cats (Gretel, Gypsy, Bonnie and Clyde). Jenn has been with Alpine Trail since October, 2015. In her spare time, Jenn enjoys going to country music concerts, hunting and fishing and spending time outdoors.

Beth Metrick

Beth graduated from Beaver Area High School in 2004, Slippery Rock University (Elem Ed/Special Ed/Early Childhood Ed) in 2009 and the Vet Tech Institute in 2015. Originally from Beaver, Beth now lives near Grove City with her husband, Greg, and their 2 dogs (Bruno and Douglas) and cat (Jaxon). She has been with Alpine Trail since January, 2016. In her spare time, Beth is a champion corn hole player and loves to take her dogs on walks.
